Nicole Samuel

Nicole Samuel completed her Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, in 2026. As part of her undergraduate studies, she conducted her senior project in the Corrosion and Applied Electrochemistry Group, led by Professor Yair Ein-Eli, in collaboration with the Israel Institute of Materials Manufacturing Technologies (IMT). Her project focused on the additive manufacturing of porous iron anodes for rechargeable batteries operating in alkaline aqueous environments.

Alongside her undergraduate studies, Nicole worked in research and development (R&D) in the metallurgical field at a defense industry company in northern Israel. Her work involved materials characterization, failure analysis, and developing recommendations to support R&D activities. She gained experience working with a range of materials and manufacturing processes, including titanium alloys, Inconel alloys, stainless steels, composite materials, and additive manufacturing.

She is currently pursuing her MSc. focusing on grain boundary mobility in alumina.
